1. Sing Along to Your Heart's Content:

  • We sing three sets of eight sea shanty songs.

  • Chorus sheets are provided to all our guests, so you can easily join in and sing along with the choruses.

  • All are welcome, whether you're an experienced singer, a novice, or just looking to have a great time.

2. Monthly Tradition:

  • Mark your calendars for the 1st Thursday of every month. It's a night you won't want to miss!

3. Family-Friendly Fun:

  • This event is perfect for families, so feel free to bring your little sailors along.

4. No Cover Charge, Special Promotions:

  • Entry to our Sea Shanty Sing-Along is absolutely free.

    for table bookings.

5. Sea Shanty Sing-Along:

  • Immerse yourself in the world of sea shanties as we provide song sheets for you to sing along with the chorus.

  • All songs are classic sea shanties that will transport you to the high seas.

  • 'The William Morris' is perched on the banks of the River Wandle.

  • The pub is set within the historic Merton Abbey Mills, a place steeped in history.

  • The building itself was once a factory and storage warehouse for William Morris of Liberty,
    adding a unique historical charm to your experience.

  • We have two fantastic ticket options for PRE-BOOKINGS ONLY:

    • A £6 ticket includes entry and two house drinks (
      Choose from Ale, Wine, Lager, Cider, Vodka or RUM!).

    • A £18 ticket includes entry, two house drinks of wine or beer, and one main course, such as a gourmet burger and chips. (And yes, our house drinks include dark, spiced and white rum to honor the sailors and sea shanties).
